We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of X-Method’s new song “When Darkness Falls” (listen below). The track is taken from the band’s upcoming album Sex, Alcohol, Rebel Music, being released on August 12th through Pavement Music. You can pre-order the album here. The album brings in a mixture of hardcore metal with the Bay Area thrash flavor from their hometown territory.
Vocalist Abby comments on the song: “‘When Darkness Falls’ is a song I wrote when I was in a very dark place after my mother died. I was going through a lot and decided to bury all the sadness and anger in this song and leave it in the studio. Music has always been my therapy in all aspects of my life: the good, the bad, and the ugly.”
Hailing from the infamous thrash metal breeding grounds of California’s Bay Area, the band was formed in 2012 by lead singer Abby. Their self-titled 7-song EP gained the band national attention and landed them extensive touring in Peru and South America. X-Method is a family that loves to involve their fans in every aspect of the band. Referred to as the “Method Militia,” these rabid and loyal fans stretch across the world and are ready to strike at a moment’s notice.
