We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Zero Holds‘ new single “Plunge,” taken from the band’s forthcoming EP The Struggle, out October 2nd.
“The EP is about figuring out what that proverbial good fight is, as much as actually fighting it,” lead singer Joe Touchette explains. “How we aim for the best and still sometimes lose, and who the people are that lift us up when we fall.” Bassist/vocalist John Thomas adds: “The struggle is about the freedom to create, and how we pursue that freedom. It’s about moving forward through obstacles, and not letting anything hold you back.”
The Struggle EP features five tracks, recorded with Jay Deluca of The Bears Den in Attleboro, MA. The track listing can be seen below. The band will celebrate the release at The Met in Providence, RI alongside War Games, Brian Marquis (of Therefore I Am) and The Varsity Club on October 2nd. Details and tickets can be found here.

Formerly known as The Roman Numeral Three, Zero Holds chose to re-brand themselves as they advanced forward in their sound and character. “It means a few major things to us as a band name,” they said. “Hold nothing back, and zero will always hold a space for bigger numbers, bigger things to come.”
