New Noise Magazine is ecstatic to be bringing forth a plethora of heavy tunes from two aggressive bands SeeYouSpaceCowboy & secondgradeknifefight. The split is being released thanks to a plethora of labels and groups, making this Split an all in endeavor, and for great measure. The opening songs are from SeeYouSpaceCowboy and feature grueling screams and bouncing grooves that wreak havoc with discordant guitars and hectic rhythmic patterns. Between blastbeats and pulsing breakdowns, songs like “Stop Calling Me Screamo” and “You Don’t Understand The Liquor Is Calling The Shots Now Randy Bobandy” give plenty of reasons to induce a head bang whiplash.

On the other side of the release is secondgradeknifefight. Their first song crushes the sound barrier with virulent screams and non-stop assaults from the instrumentals. The frequent dissonance is overcharged with a primal hostility. Each track is a quick high tonal release of energy. The split is being released via;

California’s SeeYouSpaceCowboy are heralds of the new golden age of
chaotic and noisy metalcore, and are at the forefront of their
movement. Since releasing their first demos in late 2016, the band has
seen a meteoric rise in popularity among online hardcore, metal, and
screamo communities, and have drawn comparisons ranging from the
seminal Daughters and Me and Him Call It Us to the sassy and playful
likes of Heavy Heavy Low Low and The Blood Brothers. The band also
features members of Los Angeles screamo act Letters of Catalonia, and
with such outstanding pedigree, it’s not hard to understand why this
is quickly becoming one of the popular acts in underground and extreme
music. – Christian from Mathcore Index

secondgradeknifefight is the brainchild of one Jonah Hill from
Washington DC (also of wristmeetrazor), and has become one of the most
prolific acts in underground grind / mathcore since it’s inception in
2017. The one person project has been likened to that of The Sawtooth
Grin, Cloacal Kiss, and The Great Redneck Hope, and recalls the hay
day of short, sample heavy songs with nonsensical titles that leave
one begging for more. – Christian from Mathcore Index

This is a rock n' roll takeover.
