Within the boundaries of the community we live upon, we enjoy 11 acres of certified wildlife habitat from dense forest, a beautiful lake with Koi fish (they are huge!), and a stream that runs through. Our water source is continually replenished by rain and is off-grid. There are about 16 people ranging from age 2-70’s from all walks of life from anarcho-punk to Ananda Marga monk, to organic farmer. There is such beauty in the diversity of our inhabitants on this small farm, that it feels almost too good to be true. When we leave the confines of our little utopia, we see so much conflict and people living far from the earth and the harmony that can be achieved with a little bit of conscious effort. We are not hippies, and definitely not here to shame anyone for the way they are living. We simply aim to educate and pose an alternative to the status quo. We chose to set our music video in the forest as this is a place we take sanctuary almost every day for our minds, for exercise, for communion with the earth. We wanted to convey the connection that we feel is missing from the population at large.
