Commenting on what drives the band, Hannon says; “We’re all from ex-pit villages in the Dearne Valley area of Rotherham, South Yorkshire. It’s had an impact on our music, but in a good way – because we want to get the fuck out of here! We’re the misfits, the scruffs, the socially awkward people that you avoid for not being hip enough. Right now we’re recording new material that is light years away from our previous stuff with super shit-hot producer, Ross Orton.”
Aside from winning them support slots with Dinosaur Jr, Turbowolf, Dinosaur Pile Up, Jim Jones Revue, Amazing Snakeheads, Holy Mountain, Baby Godzilla and Qemists, they’ve also appeared on the BBC Introducing stage T in The Park and their delightfully name track “Ready Steady Fuck” appears on the soundtrack for the Troma-backed horror film Banjo which has had two sold out screenings at Cannes film fest and is having its world premiere at Film 4’s Frightfest in Leicester square.
