We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Andy’s Room’s new song “Always You” (listen below). Andy’s Room vocalist Matt McCarthy commented on the track:
‘Always You’ is a song that I came to write really quickly and organically, and was also a song I couldn’t stop playing once I wrote it. Since we’re in the middle of finishing up our first full length record, I was hesitant to share a new song with the band, but once everyone heard the song, we immediately knew we needed to share it as soon as we could. The song is about being in love, and finding a solace, comfort, and deep commitment in that love. Sonically, we tried some new things, but it represents us musically as far as the stuff we like/listen to, and we are extremely proud of it. We chose to include an acoustic version of ‘Parchment’ as a B-side because we thought it complimented the song subject-matter wise, and we were itching to do an acoustic version of an older song anyway. We couldn’t be more excited with how both songs came out!

About the band:
Andy’s Room are an emo indie-rock outfit that effortlessly blend emotionally charged lyricism with heavily layered guitars and urgent percussions. Since their inception, the four-piece have released a debut EP, Yours Forever, tackling the themes of loss, heartbreak, and regret. Follow-up singles to their 2017 debut, “Parchment” and “400 Miles” found the band experimenting with style yet sill harkening back to their thematic roots of relationships and the accompanying growth throughout.
“Always You” and this acoustic version of “Parchment” are being released to tide fans over until the band’s 2019 debut full-length record. The quintet’s relatable, heart-wrenching lyrics, interwoven with ambient, rich instrumentalism, create an atmospheric journey of introspection.
