“‘Crown of Thorns’ is a great representation of what this record entails. From the mood, to the progression of sound. It’s a new direction for us, and a fresh perspective on everything,” comments Embracer. “We wanted to break our own mold on this release, and exercise the practice of not doing the safe thing. We’ve always believed in writing what we feel, and more times than not risk comes with the territory of this practice. Doing things that aren’t conventional, saying things that may overstep some boundaries, breaking status-quo. This is what we’ve tried to do with No Gospel.”

We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Embracer’s new single “Crown of Thorns” (listen below).

The band launched a GoFundMe campaign in October 2017 to help raise money for their forthcoming album No Gospel, and have surpassed their goal. You can still donate to the campaign here, and get some rewards for donating certain amounts.

Our touring regiment has been pretty consistent for being an independent band. On our release tour coming up next month, we’ll be hitting a lot of new territory that we’ve been patiently waiting for the opportunity to get to. We’re going to come into 2018 swinging, and are optimistic to see what the new year brings.
