We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of¬†Exploding Eyes’ new song “Something Critical” (listen below). The track is taken from the band’s self-titled debut LP, which is scheduled to be released this Friday, December 9th through Big Neck Records.

Robert Brady (bass, vocals, theremin) comments on the song:

“It’s about always managing to do the wrong thing and being a bit of a bastard really. But having a conscience about it so there’s always a duality there to battle with. It’s also about people’s ability to influence you to do good or bad things even without meaning to.”

Exploding Eyes are a heavy psych rock trio from Dublin, Ireland. The band takes elements of 70s heavyweights like Mountain, Blue Cheer, Hawkwind and Andromeda, and adds a live theremin with a taste for raw punk’d up space rock ala Thee Oh Sees! Their debut LP came from the workshop of producer Jim Diamond (White Stripes, Dirtbombs, The Sonics).
