Fans of the weird and the stony rejoice: stoner psych trio Mountain Tamer are back with a brand new album, Godfortune Dark Matters, out August 24. We are proud to present one of the tracks off of the record, “People Problems.” The song may be dark and ferocious,  but it’s all about getting past the negative.

“‘People Problems’ is about having the power to tell negative people around you to fuck off,” the band explained. “It’s the realization that a lot of people in this world live through negativity, manipulation, and the belittling of others around them, and it’s okay to flip them the bird and keep on with your life and not let them control you. It’s the first song we wrote for this album, and it set the tone for the more straightforward minimal songwriting we explored with this release.”

Look out for the album’s release later this month, and follow the band on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
