Ryland Heagy of Origami Angel commented on the EP:
‘Doing the Most’ is a step in a bolder direction for us both musically and conceptually. We went for a sound that we felt fit us better as a band and rolled with it. The songs are super fun to play and we think it translates to the record well. Lyrically, the EP focuses on some parts of my life over the last couple of months and is kind of a journal of thoughts ranging from feeling alone, to self improvement, to the idea of unconditional love.
About the band:
Coming out of DC, Origami Angel is a band made up of the two self-described “savages” Ryland Heagy (vox/guitar) and Pat Doherty (drums). Following up on their debut release Quiet Hours, they decided to crank up the “flex” factor and let loose with their newest release Doing the Most, releasing on Chatterbot Records.
