Palmyra Delran is inciting espionage and bringing fans along for the ride with the release of her new album, Come Spy With Me, out November 9th via Steven Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records in partnership with The Orchard. For her latest single, “(If You’d Like To Make A Call) Please Hang Up,” the trash-pop maven and on-air host of SiriusXM’s Palmyra’s Trash-Pop Shindig on Little Steven’s Underground Garage enlisted the help of Paul Collins. The track touches on the difficulties a couple faces when they can’t get along regardless of their love for each other.

Delran’s musical integrity throughout her career is based on her appreciation for real rock ‘n’ roll. Her impressive career includes playing with Pink Slip Daddy and co-founding nineties girl group The Friggs – who released the seminal Rock Candy, and shared the stage with the likes of The Ramones and Cheap Trick. The Friggs songs have been licensed to big-screen hits Superbad and Jawbreaker. After launching a solo career in 2008, Delran has gone on to release an EP and full-length album which Guitar World described as “another intoxicating blend of punk-girl grit combined with hook-laden melodies and deep lyrics.”
