We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Red Cain’s new song “Zero” (listen below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming Kindred. The band commented:

For Red Cain’s next single ‘Zero’ from our upcoming album ‘Kindred,’ we travel to ancient Egypt – dry, scorched, old as time, built on top of dead empires; littered with secrets and the devoured remains of hundreds of gods. And it is one of these that speaks to you now; the vampire god, the god of death Osiris – and his human vessel, the seeker of forbidden knowledge that may be, in the grand stillness of the desert, ultimately equal to nothing.

Seek – and you shall find; create – and you will be remembered; perish – and be forgotten. So goes the mantra of the mighty and the hope of the weak. So goes the endless cascade toward ZERO.

Upcoming Shows:
July 29 – Calgary, AB at Blind Beggar Pub
Aug 05 – Drumheller, AB at Loud As Hell Fest

About the band:

Born out of the emerging metal scene of Calgary, AB, Red Cain is a modern melodic metal project with European roots. With intricate songwriting, a heavy yet melodic feel reminiscent of progressive acts, and eerie ambient elements, Red Cain champion a fluid, dynamic, and unique musical style centered around telling dark, conceptual Faustian sagas and constructing those into an unforgettable live experience. Described by frontman Evgeniy Zayarny as wanting to bring back the “Devil’s music” mysticism all too often missing in modern metal acts, Red Cain delivers flair, groove, and an intricate, lethal edge in their music. Listeners might well pick out elements reminiscent of such luminary acts as Kamelot, Symphony X, Tesseract, Draconian, Marilyn Manson, whipped into a venomous new shape. The current incarnation of the band is all of these influences mixed with a lot of vodka and Eastern European melancholy, shaken and stirred.

Unleashing their self-titled EP in 2016, Red Cain are returning in 2018 with a debut full length, entitled Kindred, planned for later release this year produced with Sascha Laskow (Every Hour Kills, ex-Divinity) at Perfect Filth Studios.
