We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Schlotman’s new song “7-11 Jesus” (listen below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album Animal Glamour, which is scheduled to be released on January 11, 2018 through Numb Tongue Records .

The band commented on the song:

‘7-11 Jesus’ is about coming to a place in your life when the expectations that people have for you, and your understanding and ability to meet those expectations, stop lining up. When that happens with people that you love and care about, it can really tear things up in your life. At its core the song is about setting boundaries, managing expectations, and learning patience. Both for your self and with others.

About the band:

Schlotman formed in the winter of 2014 as a bi-coastal recording project between former members of WAG (DR Records) and Kal Marks (Exploding in Sound). Now based solely in San Francisco, the band has moved far beyond its modest 4-track beginnings. Drawing from a spectrum of genres and musical backgrounds that range from show tunes to punk rock, these two sets of brothers (Lucas and Jake Nevrla, along with Jordon and August Darula) write songs that are challenging and yet familiar, intense and yet comforting.
