We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Sharkswimmer’s new song “Strange Set Of Teeth” (listen below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming EP Shut In, which is scheduled to be released in late July 2018.

About the band:

Since the release of their first single, Brooklyn based indie/punk band Sharkswimmer have been busy writing along with playing very sweaty and intimate shows around NYC. After making a slight adjustment to their lineup, they are currently in the midst of wrapping up recording for their first EP, Shut In.

“Strange Set Of Teeth” is a driving, yet vulnerable song touching on our exposure to the toxic relationships we sometimes allow into our lives. The push and the pull, the lack of control, the hope that there’s some kind of silver lining underneath the wreck that continues to unfold each day with these kinds of interactions. Next comes the understanding of the type of relief that comes with finally letting go and moving forward.

While sprinkling in elements of early emo, shoegaze and dream pop, Sharkswimmer still manage to bring a unique approach with a style all their own.

Upcoming Show:
May 15 – Brooklyn, NY at Alphaville
June 2 – Brooklyn, NY at Gold Sounds
