We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Stinky’s new song “No Recovery” featuring Vincent (listen below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album From Dead-End Street, which is scheduled to be released on October 13th through Finisterian Dead End Records on CD, as well as Delete Your Favorite Records and Riot Bike Records on vinyl. You can pre-order the album here.
The band commented:
“It’s darker, more melodic and a bit more metal than the previous one. It illustrates diverse subjects such as the place of individual on a collective, on a society but also a necessary balance of the antagonisms or the will to move forward!
Our music is more mature. The first songs of ‘From Dead-End Street’ were written almost one year ago so we were able to work on them with time, which is the contrary to what happened on the previous one which was written in a rush… The new album is a real reflection of the various musical universes of every band member such as hardcore, punk or Metal. We really hope you will like it and be ready to kick asses in the pit!”
With more than 270 concerts in 14 different countries, four European tours, participation in several festivals such as Hellfest, three EPs and one full-length album, Stinky are one of the most hardworking and irreverent hardcore bands in the French underground scene.
Influenced by bands like Comeback Kid and Nine Eleven among others, the Nantes-based group is now prepared to release their second album, titled From Dead-End Street. Offering a darker and more violent hardcore sound, yet at the time with more melodic traits, the new album is full of energetic and punishing rhythms and punchy riffs.
