We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Wood Chickens’ new album Well Done (listen below), which is scheduled to be officially released this Friday through Big Neck Records. You can purchase the album here.
Alex Wiley Coyote of Wild Chickens commented: “Well Done is weirder, wilder, and more worrying than ever before! Wood Chickens are acid-barn gravy kings, and we’ve returned with our sophomore LP on Big Neck Records!”
About the band:
Wood Chickens sounds like the fastest, most white-trash thing to come out of a desert trailer park since meth. Which makes it all the more surprising that the band calls Madison, WI home. This is cowpunk, but don’t get it confused with psychobilly! Wood Chickens would pull up a bar stool next to Supersuckers or Mojo Nixon before they’d sit down next to somebody with an upright bass and a pompadour. Well Done features thirteen white-lightning-fast country songs that have enough grimy psychedelic moments to rope in a fan of garage punk!
