We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Suburban Zombie’s music video for their song “Driveways” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s album New Year, New Tears, which is available now through Bandcamp.

The music video for ‘Driveways’ is a real bitter sweet feeling for all of us in Suburban Zombie. Although we added some comedic aspects to lighten the mood, that didn’t distract us from the main theme of the song and video itself. ‘Driveways’ is about growing up and having to hopelessly face reality and adjust to an adult lifestyle. Constantly looking back on mistakes you’ve made and risks you never took in the past which ultimately led to where you are now, a feeling of being unprepared and lost or out of place. All of us here have a ‘never grow up’ attitude and have struggled during the times where we had to step up to the plate. This music video was made to show that even though you may have to grow up on the outside, you can still stay who you are on the inside.
