Austin’s party-starters Sweet Spirit premieres their ode to MTV’s past, with a new video for “The Power.” Directed by Ed Dougherty, the video brings a splash of color and excitement into a dreary, black-and-white world.
Sweet Spirit’s unique brand of pop-inspired, pure glam rock’n’roll has also won over the hearts of WXPN, having been named May’s Band of the Month. Frontwoman Sabrina Ellis also earns special notice, with Bruce Warren among others noting her undeniable star power on and off the stage.
