Table-Turned is a music subscription service that sends you music in the mail each month. Instead of telling you what to enjoy, though, they want you to select the genre you’re interested in exploring. The records you receive each month will not only include some of that genre’s best, but will also expose you to bands and albums you might have missed.
When packages become available, select a genre and pay the subscription fee. You can expect your first record when the subscription window closes a couple months later, and then eleven more records once a month until the subscription ends.
With each record, you can expect to get a few goodies from the labels that helped press these great records. And, once in awhile, they may even throw in something bigger – an exclusive shirt or slipmat for that subscription only.
Our flat cost equates to about $14 per record a month, including shipping because, well, we don’t think music should cost much more than that. Not even vinyl records.
If you miss the window to subscribe or aren’t interested in the available genres, don’t fret. New opportunities to subscribe will open up every six months, and there will always be a new genre to explore.
Table-Turned’s first two packages are Pop-Punk (FFO: The Wonder Years, Real Friends, New Found Glory; includes records from No Sleep, Bad Timing, and Take This to Heart) and Emo Revival (FFO: American Football, Jimmy Eat World, Into It. Over It.; includes records from Topshelf, Tiny Engines, and Broken World) and there are some really excellent labels involved that we haven’t even announced yet. The subscription window is open now and closes December 31; records will be shipped in time for New Years.
