Ten Foot Pole Announces North American Tour Dates

Ten Foot Pole North American Tour 2018

Quickly following Ten Foot Pole’s September “Music4Cancer Tour” dates around Montreal, TFP added a tour crossing East through the US then West across Canada and down into NW US. Of the 39 total upcoming full band shows, a whopping 25 shows are in Canada! These tours will feature a variety of old and new TFP songs, especially as recorded on their latest album Setlist (a collection of mostly old TFP songs, rerecorded, available through Cyber-Tracks Records). To warm up for the full band rock tours, Dennis Jagard (singer/songwriter/guitarist) and Chris Del Rio (bassist and backing vocals) are currently on a 23 show acoustic tour in Quebec and Ontario.

Ryan Greene is producing the new TFP record, which is halfway done and expected to be finished this year. The album is self-financed, and as Dennis explains on Patreon, is an experiment to see if ongoing, subscription based crowd funding can make a sustainable recording strategy to enable the band to write and record new music frequently, and help TFP interact with fans (currently tour date announcements on FB require a paid “boost” to really reach fans, for example). The new songs have received enthusiastic responses at the acoustic shows, so TFP is excited to get the recordings finished ASAP.

About Ten Foot Pole:

Ten Foot Pole, one of the more traveled “underground” California melodic punk bands from the 90’s Epitaph era (The Offspring, Pennywise, Lagwagon, NOFX, Rancid), is back on the scene with an album titled SETLIST, which includes new recordings of eleven of their old songs, plus two new songs. Known for heartfelt lyrics, often stories, put to aggressive guitar riffs and fast drums, TFP was a favorite in the soundtrack for the 1990’s skate and surf scenes. They have released six albums combined for worldwide sales of over three hundred thousand units. Ten Foot Pole took a break from 2006 to 2013, as Dennis, the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and principal songwriter, focused on his audio career, mixing live sound for artists including Prince, Jimmy Eat World, Beck, AFI and Weird Al Yankovic.
