The Rival Cycle are stoked to premiere their new record, Remainder, out now, and available for streaming here.

From Richmond VA, The Rival Cycle originally started out as a studio project for Dave Alcan writing, recording, and self-releasing on his own. Along the way he met Nick Umana and crafted the songs that are heard on their latest release, Remainder. The two spent time in Massachusetts with Jay Maas tracking and finishing the songs, which were then sent off to Mike Kalajian (Rogue Planet Mastering) to tie it all together.. With Remainder released, The Rival Cycle are looking to take their songs on the road.

“These songs are about love and loss, but not necessarily focusing on one at a time,” Alcan says. “We’re both very passionate about the music and the lyrics and hope they resonate with you. This project has been a long time coming, and we appreciate you taking the time out of your day to listen.”

You can also listen to the record on Spotify.
