Thieves Announce Covers EP Featuring Tracks From Weezer & The Beatles

Austin rockers Thieves have announced their Two Covers EP. The duo of tracks, out on February 26, sees the band deliver their own unique spin on classic songs from The Beatles and Weezer, with the mixing expertise of The Swellers’ Nick Diener on display.

Two Covers will whet the appetite for the band’s next full-length which is set to drop later in 2016.

Since forming in early 2009, pop-punk quartet Thieves have grafted their way to prominence in one of the most celebrated regions in world music. With a number of North American headline tours to their name, the Austin outfit place a heavy influence on technical proficiency and elite musicianship whilst maintaining a backdrop of honest and mid-tempo rock. In addition to a plethora of shows across the US, Thieves have also graced the stages of some of the top festivals in alternative music, with Fun Fun Fun Fest, SXSW and the Vans Warped Tour all on the band’s resume.
