At the end of September, the Leeds-based dance-punk sextet Adult DVD released their self-titled debut LP via Fat Possum Records (available here).
With the album’s announcement, Adult DVD—Harry Hanson (vocals), Greg Lonsdale (synth), Danny Blackburn (guitar/synth), Jake Williams (synth), Jonathan Newell (drums), and George Manson (bass)—shared the single “Rolling Face,” an acid house track that hears notes of late-1990s electronica met with new millennium house music.
“A job in a suit can only get you so far, which is what the character from rolling face soon realizes,” vocalist Harry Hanson shared of the song, continuing, “He’s at the deep end of a pretty ugly night out which ends in him losing his mind and money.” Watch the official visualizer for “Rolling Face” below.
