BOYR!OT just released the official music video for their new single, titled “HOLLYWOOD NIGHTMARE.” The track harkens back to the theatrical pop-punk of the mid-and-late 2000s, and the result is a high-energy anthem for “partying through an emotional crashout.” Anyone who lived through the peak of TMZ culture will recognize the iconic clubbing imagery of the lyrics, popularized by songs like Good Charlotte’s “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.”
Musicians Greg Driscoll and Brendan Eprile met on Tinder in 2017 and began their creative journey together based on a shared love of emo and pop-punk. Since their debut last year, they’ve garnered the attention of many niches, including queer fans and anyone who feels like an “outlier,” according to BOYR!OT.
