Today’s New Noise: HUSHMONEY

HUSHMONEY

HUSHMONEY are just a good ol’ fashioned rock ‘n’ roll outfit from Los Angeles, California, featuring members of The All American Rejects, Ex-Mag, FÓRN, and Such Hounds, as well as one of the writers for the HBO series Animals. They just dropped a new single and video today called “Bad for You” which is the first taste of a larger project that’s coming soon and will be the follow-up to their 2021 EP Success Pool. The video for “Bad for You” is streaming right now on YouTube.

With a bit of ’90s alt-rock style (which, admittedly, is a pretty vague classification) and some old-school raging guitars, “Bad for You” is just straightforward, high-octane, high-energy rock at its finest. The video sees the band jamming out in a corporate office, donning blandly-colored business suits while they put on a frenetic, hard-rocking performance. It’s a fun take on office culture, and the kind of workplace you know you’d rather work in. Check out the video below.
