Moth Broth are a queer psychedelic pop group from Baltimore, Maryland. They recently put out a new single and video called “Willa” that’s streaming on their Bandcamp with the video streaming on YouTube.
“Willa” is a gorgeous ballad backed by the piano and swirling keyboards to create a rich and complex sound. The vocals by Jake Bee are incredibly powerful, demonstrating a unique vocal skill and a powerful sense of emotion. The video utilizes fairly cheap technology to create a really trippy depiction of isolation. It’s beautiful and bizarre, and you have to check it out below.
