Nava Calma are a shoegaze/post-rock group out of Berlin, Germany. They’re gearing up for the release of their debut album The Full Weight Of Everything which is out on July 12, and the video for the single “A Last Hurrah for the Bedlam” is currently streaming on YouTube.
“A Last Hurrah for the Bedlam” is full of classic, post-rock swirling guitars that build up to a shoegazey wall of sound. Vocalist Hannah Louve Benedum lends a gorgeous dream-pop element to the dreamy little tune that’s a powerful emotional catharsis. The video is visceral, as it features Benedum being slowly buried alive as she belts out the tune. It bodes well for the rest of the album, and you can check out the video below.
