Ronker are a speed noise band out of Denderleeuw, Belgium. They’ve got a new album coming out on May 10 called Fear is a Funny Thing, Now Smile Like a Big Boy, and the video for the latest single, “HIIT,” is streaming now on YouTube.
“HIIT” is a ranging, noisy rocker with an angular rhythm that takes you to the extremes of what noise is capable of. The video, on the other hand, is something that’s going to leave you forever changed. I can only describe the short film—as it is more of a short film than a music video—as Get Out for cows. It’s a horrific story of love, lust, and steak that makes me thankful I’m already a vegan. Check out the video at your own risk below.
