Sarcoughagus are a death metal band out of Cleveland, Ohio. They’re gearing up for the release of their new album Remnants which is coming out on May 10 from Rotted Life Records, and the first single, “Tempered by Time,” is streaming now on their label’s Bandcamp.
With powerful, grumbling, growling vocals and near constant blast-beats, the song still manages to move through a number of distinct different movements along the course of a fairly short song for a death metal song, leaving you feeling like the song was longer than it really was due to its complexity. It demonstrates a brutal sonic attack from a skillful group of musicians, creating a promising first taste and opening for the upcoming album. Check it out below.
