STFU are a punk band from Tom’s River, New Jersey. They recently released a new single called “ARGH” which is currently streaming on their Bandcamp.
The band describe “ARGH” as their hardest track to date, and it certainly does come down with the punishing guitars and maniacal and extreme screaming vocals. The deranged refrain of “Women and children first” reaches powerful levels of discordance and, at times, gives way to melodic screamo moments. It’s a very mathy song that goes all over the place, but what makes it work is that it does a lot of different things equally well. Check out the track below.
