The Blacktones are a sludge band from Cagliari, Italy. They’ve got a new album coming out September 6 from Sleazy Rider Records and the latest single, “The Parade,” is streaming right now on YouTube.
“The Parade” has all the brutality and slow, gnashing, lurching grind of a sludge track, but there’s also a slick, industrial side to the single as well. It’s got a catchy beat that might even make it palatable to those who don’t have a taste for the more extreme side of sludge.
