The Implication are a melodic punk band from Franklin Township, New Jersey. The group just released their debut single this week called “Living the Dream” and it’s currently streaming on their Bandcamp.
“Living the Dream” is a surprisingly strong first single from a brand new group. The band cites their main influences as Lifetime, Jawbreaker, and The Bouncing Souls, and through some very mathy stop-and-start beats, they manage to switch from one influence to another on a dime. At times it flows smoothly, and at times it takes an abrupt detour into new territory, but all the while it keeps up a powerful punk energy. Check out the track below.
