The Polar Bears are a twinkle emo/math rock band from from Malang Raya, Indonesia. They recently released their second single, called “Cold Feet,” which is an appropriate song title considering their band name, and it’s streaming right now on the Bandcamp for their label Haum Entertainment.
“Cold Feet” combines twinkling melodies with powerful guitars and classic emo-style melodic vocals to create a deeply cathartic song. The bells at the end of the song almost make it feel Christmassy before the screamo vocals come in after that to deliver a huge emotional conclusion. Any fan of great math rock is going to love this track and want to keep an eye out for what they put out in the future.
