Valley Lodge is a power pop band out of New York City. They recently put out a new single called “I Wrote a Song” along with a fun lyric video and it’s streaming right now both on Bandcamp and YouTube.
“I Wrote a Song” is a fun pop-song with a goofy energy propelled by a wry sense of humor that keeps everything a bit tongue-in-cheek. Even the title “I Wrote a Song” speaks to a sense of humor and irony that shines through in the song’s lyrics. The hooks in this song are absolutely infectious. The video features a single dancer with purple hair and a bodysuit, making for an unusual experience while you follow along with the lyrics. Check out the lyric video below.
