Wax Mekanix is an alternative rock solo artist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Wax recently put out a new album called Psychotomimetic on Electric Talon Records and released a video for the final track called “Look at You Now” which is available on YouTube.
“Look at You Now” is a stark song with just a piano and vocals, which lays bare the raw emotion of the tune. Wax’s vocals are powerful and evoke deep emotion that makes this a strongly cathartic song. The video, directed by Alex Wagoner, is a stark black-and-white video featuring Wax singing the song alone, save for a piano player, in a dark room while wearing a straightjacket.
