Winnetka Bowling League are an indie-pop group from San Fernando Valley in California, fronted by songwriter and producer Matthew Korma who has worked with everyone from Britney Spears to Shania Twain to Bruce Springsteen. The band recently released a new single called “Handsome” off their upcoming album Sha La La which is due out May 31. The video for “Handsome” is now streaming on YouTube.
“Handsome” is an infectiously catchy song full of jangly guitars complimented by quirky keyboards to create some absolutely killer pop hooks. The chorus on this one is going to be stuck in your head for weeks. The video features the band performing the song in a white void, and the frenetic energy of Korma’s performance is really what sells the video visually. Check out the video below.
