Frankie and the Witch Fingers are dropping Monsters Eating People Eating Monsters October 2 via Reverberation Appreciation Society/Greenway Records.

Providing a mesmerizing first track, “Activate” launches the listener to the Far East with head-spinning, world rhythms that give way to a drill-sergeant drum kit and furious guitar energy.

The mood is set for the next eight minutes and beyond. Lightning speed riffs pulsate and gurgle back and forth as the monolith of sounds closes in from all sides. A mouth-watering prog-ified psych rocker, “Activate” invites the listener to dive head-first into the world of Frankie and the Witch Fingers have created on their forthcoming album.

As the title suggests, a nightmarish, science-fiction netherworld provides the backdrop for the band’s primordial, day-glo, trip-out record.
