Based out of Newmarket ON, Canada, Oakrest are premiering their single single and lyric video, “Love for One Day,” exclusively here at New Noise.

The band mix elements of modern pop-rock and pop-punk bands like Fountains of Wayne, New Found Glory, and blink-182 with the sound of newer bands like Seaway, Neck Deep, and Young Culture.

The band used to be all about fast-paced guitar and distortion, but they have worked to find their unique sound you’ll hear today, and that’s evident in “Love for One Day.”

The band says regarding the new track, “‘Love for One Day’ is a song about getting mislead into what you thought was a perfect relationship, but turned out to be the complete opposite.”
