Northern Virginia’s Weatherworn are ready to drop their latest single, “Jets To Muncy,” featuring AJ Perdomo of The Dangerous Summer. The band’s sophomore LP, Postcards, is set for release in June this year.

New Noise are proud to premiere “Jets To Muncy” below:

Weatherworn is an alternative/punk band from Northern Virginia. Pulling influence from Saves the Day, the Get Up Kids, and Taking Back Sunday, Weatherworn introduces a new spin on the early ‘00s music scene: a dual vocal style, with rich, rhythmic dynamics capsulizes a balance in polarity.

The group began its formation in 2016, under the name of Prior Engagements, later changing to Weatherworn upon the release of 2018’s self-titled EP. The band has since released their debut studio full-length, 2019’s Still Frames, produced by John Naclerio of Nada Recording Studio in Montgomery NY.

On the single’s release, Weatherworn state:

“‘Jets To Muncy’” is a song of self-reflection. It’s a promise to not only take chances, but also make the necessary sacrifices for those you love.

Tomorrow is not promised. This is an anthem dedicated to living life to its fullest while maintaining the commitment of being present in each moment.”
