Australian pop-punk band Wing Defence are sharing their new single, “C4 Miles,” tackling the impact alcohol can have on one’s life and the clarity that comes when you tackle those issues head-on.

The five-piece hail from Adelaide and have made waves since they first came on the scene, sharing their debut EP Friends in 2020. Wing Defence were formed by Skye Walter and Paige Court back in 2018, quickly receiving attention and praise, eventually performing at huge festivals like BIGSOUND, Groovin’ The Moo, and Laneway Festival.

The new track is reflective, backed by explosive drums, driving guitar riffs, and Skye’s signature, striking vocals, all surrounding ear-catching melodies and profound lyricism about a topic many people have explored in their own heads to some degree.

Frontwoman Walter talks more about the single:

“C4 Miles was written by Benny, Paige and myself … a collab of our experience in coming to realize the issues that alcohol may have caused in our lives and making the changes needed to become a healthier human both mentally and physically. We’re feeling strong, feeling good. Let’s drink to that!”
