Power-pop quartet You Vandal from Gainesville, Florida are premiering their new song “Hold For Applause” exclusively here at New Noise.

The band are known for their brand of gruff punk, combining influences from punk and pop-rock to deliver songs full of well-polished melodies. Their upcoming release is the long-awaited follow-up to 2017’s I Just Want to Go Back to Hell.

Singer Eric Cannon says “So much has changed since the last record in terms of how we write songs and explore ideas. It feels like a new band in some ways, and there’s a sense of excitement that comes along with that. We can’t wait to give everyone a taste of what we’ve been cooking up.”
