Trap/metal artist Becko released his new Mike Shinoda-produced single/video “Darkest Days” last week, and we think it’s well worth a listen. Check it out below!
“Darkest Days” is all about escaping from our darkest times in life, discovering our true self, and coming out stronger on the other side. The track was produced by Shinoda live on Twitch as part of his #ShinodaProduceMe series.
Becko says of the track:
“This track is my best yet. I’ve put it all out there. All I know of music, life … everything. Mike Shinoda is one of my biggest overall inspirations and helped shape me into the artist I am today.”
Mike Shinoda adds:
“I’ve had a lot of fun producing so many new, upcoming artists on Twitch, and Becko was definitely a standout. I’m excited for the song’s release and to see what he does in the coming years.”

Becko is the solo project of Italian multi-genre producer, musician, and vocalist Marco Calanca, previously of post-hardcore band Hopes Die Last. This project aims to unite influences of EDM, Hip-Hop, Industrial and Emo-Rock.
This new single was released via Becko’s label home since 2020, independent, artist-owned/operated US-based electronic-rock label FiXT, which was founded by genre-pioneering artist/producer Klayton (Celldweller, Circle of Dust).
