Undesirable People have released a new music video for their contagious new track “Climb High” off of their upcoming 6-song EP, Ask Me If I Care, due out April 20. “Climb High is a song that came together very naturally for us and really helped set the tone for Ask Me If I Care. For the first time ever, we challenged ourselves in a new way by writing about what we’ve actually encountered through the common woes of adulthood at this point in our lives”, says lead singer and bassist, Mark Lebiecki.
This Detroit 4-piece has been persistent in the midwest rock scene for years and have not shown signs of fading any time soon with the announcement of their new EP. “Ask Me If I Care is new territory for us lyrically and musically. I genuinely feel that our hearts and souls are inside of these songs”, Lebiecki expresses. “It’s an excitingly vulnerable state for us as a band. We wrote a lot about love and pain, and the process of both colliding with no warnings.” The opening track “Climb High” promptly ushers listeners into a sonic experience that incorporates a diverse mix of grooves and tones to create an amalgamate that is anything but undesirable.
Undesirable People are on the road this May and have plans to tour this coming summer and fall. They are set to appear at Michigan’s Excellency Festival this August with Tiny Moving Parts, Belmont and many other talented groups. You can keep up with Undesirable People on their socials below.
