“Sujfan Steven has to be, collectively, one of our favorite artists. ‘The Carrie and Lowell’ record has had such an influence on me; and ‘Fourth of July’ is the first song on that record I really resonated with. I remember the first time listening – laying on my bed, looking at the ceiling in the dimly lit room and being completely immersed in its sound and story. We had a great time covering and rearranging it.”
