Video Premiere: Capture the Sun – “Helios” (Full Band Playthrough)

Capture the Sun - Helios

We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Capture the Sun’s full band playthrough video of their song “Helios” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s album Terra Ignota, which is scheduled to be released this Spring.

The band comments on the song:

“‘Helios’ is the debut track from our upcoming album, ‘Terra Ignota.’ The album is a conceptual story about the creation of a planet and the subsequent societies and civilizations that form, develop and eventually fade from it’s surface. ‘Helios’ is the second track on the album and represents one of the essential building blocks of life – the Sun.”

Hailing from Maine, Capture the Sun formed at the University Of Maine in 2009. The band consisted of Kyle Hussey on guitar and twin brothers James and Justin Hadley on guitar and drums, respectively. Their love and appreciation of music drove the band to start writing their instrumental compositions and they soon began playing local shows. After nearly a year of performing, Tony Babb joined the trio as Capture The Sun’s first bassist. In 2012, the band issued their official self-titled debut full-length and continued to build their name in their regional music scene. In 2013, Tony departed the band and Sean Edwards was brought in as his replacement, remaining as Capture The Sun’s bassist to this day.
