Youth of Dissent, the latest album from Greece’s 1000mods, was recorded by legendary producer Matt Bayles (Soundgarden, Isis, Mastodon) at Stone Gossard’s (founding member of Pearl Jame, Temple of the Dog) Litho Studio and London Bridge Studio (Pearl Jam).
It breaks the space-time continuum over its eleven primitive, original, and inspiring tracks as 1000mods time travel to the glorious 90’s, where elements of punk rock and heavy metal fused to change the face of music industry and led to the legendary grunge rock explosion.
1000mods have been one of the most successful, Greek, rock band of the past decade, having played sold-out shows across Greece including a 5,000-capacity, headlining, arena gig in Athens in 2018. The band have garnered an ever-growing global fan base due to their relentless touring schedule and have appeared on tours across the U.S., Australia, and Europe, including performances at several of the major European festivals such as Hellfest (France), Copenhell (Denmark), Desertfest, Motorcultor (France), Impact Festival (Poland), Rockwave Festival (Greece), and more.
Their debut 2011 album Super Van Vacation is considered to be a classic for the European heavy rock scene as well as a game-changer for Greek rock music.

“Warped” appeared on 1000mods’s album Youth of Dissent, which dropped on April 24 via Ouga Booga and the Mighty Oug Recordings.
On the weird time/space phenomena of our reality and how it pertains to their video, 1000mods offer the following:
“Time and space as we know it might be bent (warped), but we will not let them create twisted (warped) history and facts for people’s need of real freedom without masters and authoritarians. We should not let them lead us to distorted (warped) lives anymore.”
