New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the exclusive video premiere of “Cakewalk” by A Place In Time. The nostalgia represented in the video is beyond infinity, immediately honing in on the early days of Nintendo gaming consoles, sliding into the track’s vibrant melodies. The music video is wrapped in visual metaphors, showcasing a unique ability to host plenty of depth within the A Place In Time’s writing style. Between the urgent vocals and the dancing guitar leads, this is one hell of a track. Take a listen below and know this is the first single of an upcoming record from the band.

Danny Salsbury of A Place in Time commented on the song: “‘Cakewalk’ is about the ups and downs of falling in love and the dichotomy between fulfilling your own needs and compromising for others.”

Caleb Dorsch of A Place in Time commented on the album: “I feel like this record finally achieves the artistic vision we have been reaching for. There are a lot of songs that are new and a lot that are old, but each song has purpose and brings a sense of balance to our sound.”
