Chilean rock outfit Aisles have released their first new song in five years, titled “Fast,” through Presagio Records. The track is a preview of the group’s highly anticipated, fifth studio album, to be released during the second half of 2021.

New Noise are proud to premiere the video for “Fast” below:

The frenetic song from the Santiago sextet was influenced by the power of bands like Foo Fighters and Muse, with a fast-paced vibe and intense guitar riffs but also has the unmistakable exploratory touch of Aisles.

On the track’s release, guitarist and composer Germán Vergara says:

“The song and the lyrics are inspired by so much in my personal life, with a very tough break up; the departure of Sebastián (Vergara, ex-vocalist), my brother, from the band and also in the global social crisis that has a lot of this feeling like the end of a cycle. It is about following a purpose with all the strength that you have left.

“The song contains all the frustration, anxiety, sadness, hope, and accumulated energy of the difficult times we all had to live through’ that’s why we wanted to convey the feeling of urgency in ‘Fast.’”
