We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Aviator’s music video for their song “Heaven’s Gate” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s upcoming 7″ EP, which is scheduled to be released April 1, 2017 through Head2Wall Records (North America) and I.Corrupt.Records (Europe).
Aviator bassist Mike Moschetto comments:
“Maybe a slideshow depicting life on the road won’t come across as particularly exciting to the folks watching this who tour regularly, but traversing (literally) foreign lands for a month gave us a fresh perspective on a familiar experience. I loved Hannes’s inclusion of – perhaps his emphasis on – what would otherwise be the banal minutia of tour because in addition to being beautifully documented, in the moment we appreciated them in a new way.”
Heaven’s Gate b/w Death’s Door is the forthcoming 7″ from Massachusetts-based emotional hardcore band Aviator, to be released 1 April 2017 by Head2Wall Records in North America and I.Corrupt.Records in Europe. The songs were written over the course of a 4-week tour of Europe and the UK, culminating in a live recording session in the “Basement of Hell” at Faust Studios in Prague, Czech Republic. Drummer Joel Coan of The Felix Culpa is featured behind the kit on this release, as he filled in with the band for the whole run. The video for “Heaven’s Gate” was created by Berlin-based filmmaker/photographer Hannes M. Meier.
