Video Premiere: Bashford – ‘Bitter Masses’

Bashford

Like ripping off a band-aid or taking a cold shower, Wisconsin trio Bashford bring excitement and grit to a decaying music scene gasping for a breath of fresh air. The band’s latest release, Greener Grasses, is out December 10 via Big Neck Records.

“Bitter Masses” points at the absurdity of routine living, with the band encouraging a change for the better. Bashford plan on coming to your town to mess around and do punk stuff, so don’t be surprised when the cops are called!

On the track’s release, Lucas Peltonen states:

“We had a bunch of footage left over from the last music video we did from over a year ago, and we thought it would go well with the release of our new song ‘Bitter Masses.’ The song has themes of nihilism and is about dealing with a bleak future, and we thought we had some video in the tank, as well as some live footage that could pair up well with that. The video has footage of breathtaking scenes such as ‘Ty picking up a tree’ and ‘Ty handing Dallas a shovel,’ and we didn’t want to deprive anyone of such riveting stuff.”
